Draft for legal review.Complete every bracketed placeholder before this page is published or submitted to App Store Connect.
This public draft describes SizzleCam, an iOS 17+ food-photo refiner with on-device natural correction and optional AI processing. It must be checked against the shipped app, production configuration, service providers, App Store products, and applicable law before publication.
01
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("we," "us," or "our") intends to handle information in connection with SizzleCam, the SizzleCam website, and related support services (together, the "Service"). SizzleCam is an iOS 17+ food-photo refiner with natural on-device correction and optional AI processing.
This Policy is a public draft. It must be reviewed against the final app behavior, Apple App Store privacy disclosures, technical configuration, and applicable law before publication.
02
Who operates the Service
The Service is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. Our business address is [COMPANY ADDRESS]. For privacy questions, contact [PRIVACY EMAIL]. For general support, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL].
03
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use SizzleCam, what permissions you grant, and which features are enabled. The final list must be reconciled with the app build and the App Store privacy label.
Contact information and support correspondence if you choose to contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] or [PRIVACY EMAIL]. The current app is designed for anonymous use; any future account feature must be reflected here before release.
Content and directions you submit, including one Natural refine photo or the top-down and angled Pro shoot references, style and Sizzle settings, food type, background and composition choices, and related metadata needed to provide the requested result.
Device and technical information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, network information, identifiers made available by the platform, and approximate region where collected.
Diagnostic, crash, performance, and usage information, such as error logs, feature interactions, timestamps, and information about how the Service performs.
Purchase and subscription information, such as transaction identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, ticket balances, renewal state, and country or storefront information made available by Apple or the app. Apple processes payment card details for App Store purchases.
Information you send when requesting help, reporting a problem, or making a privacy request.
04
Photos, reference images, and editing directions
Natural correction is designed to run on the device. The original photo, enhanced master, optional second Pro shoot reference, and local history may be stored in the app’s protected local storage so you can compare, re-open, delete, and export results. Your system Photos library is accessed through Apple permission controls.
If you explicitly enable optional AI, SizzleCam may create a metadata-free copy of the selected image or Pro shoot references and send it with your style and direction settings for processing. The image may still reveal people, places, text, logos, or other information visible in the pixels, so only submit content you are allowed to process.
Optional AI content may be temporarily processed by [AI SERVICE PROVIDER(S)] and supporting infrastructure. The specific provider, processing location, storage path, deletion behavior, and retention period must be confirmed before publication.
05
Device, diagnostic, crash, and usage information
We may receive technical information needed to keep SizzleCam secure, functional, and compatible with supported iOS versions. This may include crash reports, performance signals, log data, app configuration, device and OS details, and usage events. The actual categories, collection triggers, and retention period must be documented from the production configuration.
SizzleCam includes a user-controlled preference for sharing anonymous usage information. Any production analytics, diagnostics, or crash tools must be listed here as [ANALYTICS / DIAGNOSTIC PROVIDER(S)] before publication. If none are enabled in production, this Policy and the App Store privacy label must say so accurately.
06
Purchase and subscription information
SizzleCam may offer consumable AI ticket packs of 5, 15, 50, and 100 tickets. Purchased tickets do not expire. The app may also offer a monthly Plus subscription. App Store prices may vary by country or region.
Apple processes App Store payments and may provide us with transaction, product, storefront, subscription, and entitlement information. We do not need your payment card number to provide App Store purchases. The final data flow, refund handling, and App Store privacy disclosure must be confirmed before publication.
07
How we use information
Subject to the final product configuration and applicable law, we may use information to:
Provide, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve SizzleCam and its AI editing features.
Run natural correction, process optional AI directions, validate generated results, and return the natural or accepted AI result.
Track ticket usage, verify purchase state, administer subscriptions, and provide purchase support. Apple’s standard restoration behavior may differ for consumable ticket packs and subscriptions.
Respond to support, accessibility, security, and privacy requests.
Detect abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, harmful content, and violations of the Terms of Use.
Measure reliability and performance, investigate crashes, and maintain service and legal records.
Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Apple, us, and others.
08
AI processing and third-party service providers
Optional AI processing may use models, private temporary storage, job infrastructure, and related services provided by [AI SERVICE PROVIDER(S)] and other vendors selected for the Service. These providers may process submitted food photos, Pro shoot references, style and direction settings, and technical data only as needed for the configured service relationship, subject to provider terms and our instructions where applicable.
We must confirm whether any provider uses submitted content for model training, how opt-outs or restrictions work, what security measures apply, and which subprocessors are involved. No unconfirmed vendor, training, encryption, or security claim should be added to this draft.
09
Storage, retention, and deletion
Originals, enhanced masters, and history are designed to remain on your device until you delete them, delete the app, or the operating system removes app data. Optional AI copies and job data may be stored temporarily by us and our service providers for the period required to complete processing, validation, abuse prevention, and deletion. The production schedule must be completed as [DATA RETENTION PERIOD] before publication.
You may request deletion of personal information by contacting [PRIVACY EMAIL]. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required or permitted by law, for fraud prevention, to complete a transaction, or to protect the Service. Deleting the app or turning off a permission may not by itself delete information already processed.
10
Sharing and disclosure
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients, as needed for the purposes described in this Policy:
Service providers that host, store, process, secure, support, or deliver SizzleCam and its AI features.
Apple and App Store systems for purchases, subscriptions, entitlement verification, and platform services.

A successor or transaction party if the business or relevant assets are reorganized, financed, merged, or transferred, subject to applicable law.

11
International data transfers
Information may be processed in countries or regions outside the country where you live, including locations used by Apple, hosting providers, AI providers, and support providers. The specific [INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER LOCATIONS] and the safeguards relied upon for each transfer must be confirmed before publication.
Where required by applicable law, we intend to use appropriate contractual, organizational, or other safeguards for cross-border processing and provide additional information upon request.
12
User rights and privacy requests
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator. These rights are subject to exceptions and verification requirements.
To make a privacy request, email [PRIVACY EMAIL] with enough detail for us to understand the request. We may ask for information to verify your identity and authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
13
Children’s privacy
SizzleCam is not directed to children who are below the [MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT] applicable in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not knowingly request personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact [PRIVACY EMAIL] so the request can be reviewed.
14
Apple platform and payment processing
SizzleCam is distributed through Apple’s App Store and operates on iOS 17 or later. Apple may process account, device, payment, purchase, subscription, and platform information under Apple’s own privacy terms. App Store purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds are handled through Apple’s systems and policies, subject to the Terms of Use and the options Apple makes available.
This Policy should be read together with the privacy information Apple presents in the App Store and in the operating system. If the app requests access to photos, camera, notifications, or other system features, the app will provide the platform permission prompt and use the access for the disclosed feature.
15
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Service, processing practices, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the Last Updated date and provide any notice required by applicable law. If a change is material, the notice method and timing will be determined based on the law and the nature of the change.
